Yaps, on the 1st February 2012, I am going to Roppan at Denpasar Junction.
Roppan is a one of place in Denpasar for eat some Japanese foods, such as ramen, sushi, katsu bento, etc. Roppan is stands Roppongi Pan. Roppan offers a selection of Japanese pizza toast also with various toppings, that are ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. This is place for having fun, relaxing, with our lovely person. If we going there, we will feel like in the Roppongi Hills like on the movie Kill Bill.
They have a great concept. The eatery is called Roppan, with a picture of a slice of toast next to the restaurant’s name and slices of mock toast hanging in front of the restaurant. Roppan, with its glass counter, wooden tables and seats, looks like a fast food place or somewhere people can grab take-away.
Roppan founded by Johnny Andrean who has gained success in the business of bread and doughnut. The name was taken from the words Roppongi and Pan. Roppongi is from the Roppongi Hills, a district in Japan’s capital Tokyo that is famous for its nightlife, attractions, shopping and dining places and Pan is the Japanese words for bread.
They have many kinds of food. Every time I come there, I very confuse to choose the food. They provide some foods that is different with other restaurant or cafe. I think, this is the first restaurant in Bali that provide the Japanese toast with an attractive packaging and a suitable alternative for young people, teenagers or families who want to relax, have fun, etc. If you come there, you must try to taste the ramen, sushi crispy, roppan udon, etc. But, one thing for certain is on should never leave the eatery without enjoying dessert, Roppan Japanese honey toast. It is a combination of Japanese thick bread, much thicker than the bread that comes with the other toast dishes, with a splash of honey and topped with scoops of ice cream.
After creating bread and doughnuts, Johnny Andrean with this new offering is once again set to create another food craze.
About the price started from Rp 9.000,- until Rp 40.000,-.
